Serving as VP of the Finance Committee, Delton utilized a strategic approach to help each PMI Atlanta VP realize the organization's overall goals. His leadership and enthusiasm has had a major impact on all who work with him. Read on to learn more about Delton and his thoughts about project management.

Q. What has been your favorite or most rewarding volunteer experience with PMI Atlanta?
A. Networking with the other volunteers, our common interests and mutual respect for each other creates an opportunity to grow in many ways.

Q. What would you like to accomplish during your volunteer tenure?
A. Assist the leadership team with adding value for PMI Atlanta members with quantitative results, specifically growing the members’ participation in the chapter's various events.

Q. How did you become interested in the project management profession?
A. As a financial professional, I always asked myself, what’s the degree of separation between success and failure, other than a lack of interests or commitment; a methodology that simulates achievement.

Q. What PMI Atlanta initiatives are you most excited about?
A. The leadership team's creative energy to add value for PMI Atlanta members with quality events supported by quantitative research.

Q. Any little known fact that you’d like to share?
A. I am a professionally trained “Hot Tub Repair Technician” with a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and electronics methodologies.
