Overview
Special Interest has oversight of the Industry Fourms, Toastmasters, and the Speakers Bureau for the PMI Atlanta Chapter. The organization is responsible for the smooth execution of the monthly Industry Forums (currently: AEC, Agile, Entertainment, Governance, Healthcare, and Technology) and the fortnightly Chapter Toastmasters events. Additionally, the Speakers Bureau is charged with finding speakers for the Chapter's signature events (e.g., bi-monthly Dinner meetings, Networking, "PM in the AM" events).
Vision
To help enhance PMI Atlanta member skills through exposure to multiple industry-specific Forums and provide opportunities to become a better communicator/public speaker.
Mission
Support the PMI Atlanta mission to be the thought leaders in the area of Project Management and provide a diversity of educational (PDU-worthy) experiences to help Chapter members improve their knowledge of specialized industries and PM-relevant skills such as public speaking. By providing top-notch speakers for all PMI Atlanta events, we help promote the Chapter and expand its reach in the community.
